Take and upload a photo
One of the actions available to you on the Home tab under "Actions" is Take and upload a photo. Here, we'll go over how it works.
Note: The “Take and upload a photo” feature is only available for SanDisk® ibi™ and My Cloud™ Home devices.
To take and upload a photo using the Home tab, follow these steps:
- Tap Take a photo under Actions in the Home tab.
- Point the camera and tap the Shutter button to take a photo.
- Tap Use Photo and EdgeRover™ saves the file to your current device.
Tip: To cancel an upload at any time during the process, tap Stop uploading. To retake a photo, tap Retake.
While the upload continues, the progress bar at the top of your screen displays your file’s upload status. Once the upload is complete, you receive a notification.
Note: If you receive an Upload error, the process didn't upload the photo. Before you tap Retry, be sure to connect to the internet and check your device for available space.
