Renaming, moving, and deleting files and folders

EdgeRover™ provides several ways to edit your files. You can rename, move, or simply delete them.

To rename a file or folder:

  1. Tap the Files tab, and then navigate to the target file or folder.
  2. Tap the Three-dot icon to the right of the file or folder.
  3. Tap Rename and enter the new file or folder name.
  4. Tap Save. EdgeRover notifies you that the file or folder has been renamed.

To move a file or folder:

  1. Tap the Files tab, and then navigate to the target file or folder.
  2. Tap the Three-dot icon to the right of the file or folder.
  3. Tap Move and navigate to the file or folder destination.
  4. Tap Move here. EdgeRover notifies you that the file or folder has been moved to the new location.
Note: EdgeRover alerts you if any of the selected files to be moved are currently being shared. If so and you choose to continue, the people you shared the files or folders with lose access.

To delete a file:

  1. Tap the Files tab, and then navigate to the target file.
  2. Tap the Three-dot icon to the right of the file.
  3. Tap Delete. EdgeRover asks you to confirm the file deletion as the file will be permanently deleted and will lose all Comments and Likes.
  4. Tap Delete again. EdgeRover notifies you that the file or folder has been deleted.
